Earlier than now, the Convention Planning Committee, under the able leadership of our Chairperson: Pastor (Mrs) Yomi Adejugbe had visited some Regional Leaders, Axis Coordinators and District Overseers in order to solicit for their supports. We testify that their words have been encouraging.
OUR TESTIMONIES: We testify to the glory of God that some of the pledges from individual, Churches, Zones and Districts have started coming in. We testify under God that as we went round talking to people, some of those who made up their minds to give little sums of money have had to change their minds for good and increase their pledges.
As we write and to the glory of God, some people have called the Chairperson to pledge their support of contributing their skills to the progress of the work.
Above all, the Committee has kicked the ground running by starting the ground breaking exercise on the Foursquare Family Recreation Centre as seen below:
WHAT DO WE DESIRE OF YOU: You will recall that we furnished you earlier on with the cost implications of all the projects at hand; to be delivered between then and September, 2023. Bearing in mind that there was no subsidy removal by then. Now that the Federal Government of Nigeria has backed out of subsidy, God has not backed out. Psalm 121:1-3 says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Subsidy removal will not and cannot stop divine help from locating you. Your help is not from abroad, it is from above. The famine in Egypt did not intimidate or affect Israel negatively; that was actually the time they lived in abundance. This is your season of rest. But like all farmer who desire to enjoy bumper harvest, sowing must precede harvest.
Therefore, if you have not made any pledge at all, this is the time to pick your pen and cheque and write something worthwhile. . If you have pledged but you have not started to redeem it; today is the best time to start. Better still, if you have started redeeming your pledge; you cannot afford to give up. The hand of ‘Zerubabel’ has started; his hands will also complete what he has started. Peradventure, you have pledged and redeemed; ‘Miracle no dey tire Jesus,’ you can still ask Baba God, if he wants you to do something more? Whatever he tells you to do, do it. John 2:5.
